Who are we ?
Confirel was founded in 2001 by Dr. Hay Ly Eang, driven by the firm conviction that rural development and the improvement of the living conditions of peasants were the cornerstone of a happy future for Cambodia. By giving a new impetus to the exploitation of Thnot, the sugar palm, threatened by massive and illegal fellings although it belongs to the natural heritage of Cambodia, Confirel wanted to demonstrate that improving the income farmer goes through the creation in Cambodia, of products with high added value from the countless resources of the country's soils.
